The Uniform Project began in May 2009, by Sheena Matheiken, who has pledged to wear one dress for one year as an exercise in sustainable fashion. There are 7 identical dresses, one for each day of the week. Every day she will reinvent the dress with layers, accessories and all kinds of adornments, the majority of which will be vintage, hand-made, or hand-me-down goodies.
The Uniform Project is also a year-long fundraiser for the Akanksha Foundation, a grassroots movement that is revolutionizing education in India. At the end of the year, all contributions will go toward Akanksha’s School Project to fund uniforms and other educational expenses for slum children in India.

Massage is hugely important for the human body to maintain optimum condition, but its not always an option when you can’t afford expensive therapist fees or time simply doesn’t allow it. Step in new Tisserand Massage Oils which are the next best things for a tired or stressed out body. With organic ingredients and essential oils, which you can more or less massage into your skin alone, this oil will perk you back up in no time. I personally like the Energising Revive, which is great pick-me-up at the end of the day before a night out.

Dwell Magazine and Inhabitat.com have teamed up to create a design competition dedicated to re-envisioning the suburbs.
For all future-forward architects, urban designers, renegade planners and imaginative engineers: design how you would re-invent the suburbs! Dwell & Inhabit want to see how you’d design future-proof spaces and systems using the suburban structures of the present, from small-scale retrofits to large-scale restoration—the wilder the better!

Fruit City is a conceptual growing map and network of all the fruit trees in public spaces in London. Logged and mapped by the Fruit City team and you. Much of the fruit we buy in the city is from far flung places like Spain, Brazil and Chile, but literally tons of fruit grows in our own city.
Fruit City is not just a Map of trees, but an initiative to wake people up to the nature on their doorstep. To re-engage folks with the wild and goodness around them and to get local community orchards planted. You’ll find an extensive list of amazing initiatives and schemes that are happening now. As well as recipes and uses for fruit that you may never had thought of. How about some Camden Cherry wine?

After the most gorgeous weekend of sun, my skin is left feeling a little tight and dry. Step in super-product Rodial Glam Balm which is nothing short of a miracle in a tube.
Using the natural ingredient, Pomegranate, with its natural anti-ageing, firming and collagen-boosting properties, combined with breakthrough natural ingredients, my skin is now back to its happy self. This is the quickest and most healing balm I have ever used and no doubt I will buy this again.
