Oh hot pink a/w 2009 boots from Olenhaus…how I did not realise that I needed you in my life until now. Your so pink, and shiny and edgy and so very vegan, yet so wearable. Your a vintage pair of shoes in the making…a siren of the street, an eco statement of the highest level, ’super- powered’ boots.  And your not available…(yet!).

Recycled Lego Necklace

Loving this recycled necklace sent in by eco designer Camilla Hounsell. This quirky piece would work well teamed with a simple fitted black/white dress, or a pencil skirt teamed with a soft organic t-shirt.

Smelling of Roses

Gorgeous Pukka rosewater can be used to remove the last traces of make-up, refresh the skin and in the process helps to reduce fine lines. The Organic Rosewater is distilled from Rosa damascena flowers, grown at high altitude, which helps to optimise oil content and impart its wonderful fragrance.

My Latest Obsession

Is the glorious Kitty Cooper who reworks recycled pieces to make the most beautiful and intricate handmade shoes. Her designs are inspired by the shapes, styles and craftsmanship of past eras, as well as the vintage ‘make-do-and-mend’ sensibility which is the antithesis of modern throw-away fashion.

Eco Bamboo Bikes

Zambikes, the brainchild company setup by two Californians and two Zambians, creates beautifully made bamboo bikes, which are strong enough to handle many different types of environments.

Perseverance and an innovative approach to product design and working practices have helped Zambikes put down strong roots enabling a Zambian community to work and prosper and the eco properties of bamboo to be explored further.

Oooh I am loving this new website which showcases the genius work of Benjamin Reingold; a kind of deconstruct and re-create designer, with a sense of humour and a mean eye for the potential within a garment. This guy is a great fashion label in the making.

Jigsaw Organics Launches New Range

Jigsaw Organics, an extension of Jigsaw Fashion, is a new luxury organic skin & bodycare range comprising of ten different products created to nourish and pamper the skin. Ever loving of a good scrub, I tried out the organic caster sugar body scrub. With a slightly woody smell,  70% organic and Soil Association Certified, even men would feel comfortable using this product in the shower making this a great family all-rounder.
